The Embassy of Ireland in Brazil and the Consulate General in São Paulo are partnering with 18 universities across Brazil to commission a mural of the interpretation of one chapter of book in each institution.
To celebrate de centenary of Ulysses, the Embassy of Ireland in Brazil and the Consulate General in São Paulo are partnering with 18 universities across Brazil to commission a mural of the interpretation of one chapter of book in each institution.
The purpose is to explore how Brazilian youth interpret the book “Ulysses” 100 years after its publication. We hope to encourage and value art and literature in Brazil. We intend to promote artistic productions in Universities throughout Brazil, allowing the transformation of the university space and its surroundings, with visual interventions of the Irish work with a Brazilian identity.
