James Joyce sculpture exhibition
Studio exhibition of two bronze sculptures of James Joyce.
A life size bronze bust and a half life size bronze figure made by sculptor Mark Rode will be on display in his studio in County Mayo. The sculptor undertook extensive research including visiting Joyce Tower to study the photographs and death mask of Joyce. The resulting sculptures are accurate and detailed while also capturing the character of this literary giant.
