At Newcomen Bridge
Street art on footbridge beside Newcomen Bridge North Strand.

Street art on the footbridge over the canal and railway beside Newcomen Bridge on the North Strand remembering in Ulysses when ‘Father Conmee boarded an outward bound tram for he disliked to traverse on foot the dingy way past mud island’. Decorated with images of how the area would have looked as well as old trains celebrating the Newcomen steam engine. On the other side a line from local poet John Cummins ‘ain’t no saint ain’t no judge here, trying to build a bridge of trust here, ain’t no judge ain’t no saint here, I smudge truth to paint clear…’
